From mouth - watering moussaka to tasty dolmades and plates piled high with meze, Greece is a haven for foodies. This trip caters for vegans and vegetarians and there are meat options available as well. Some included meals are fish or meat based, alternatives will be offered.

Greek breakfasts are often light, so our hotel buffets will usually consist of a variation of yoghurts, cereals, bread, jam and fresh fruits. That being said, aside from breakfast, Greek cuisine is second - to-none and there'll be plenty of opportunities to dig into gyros, Greek baklava and koulouri.

To fully immerse ourselves in the wonders of Greece, we'll keep to a daily schedule. Our plan includes use of public ferries, including the overnight ferry from Crete to Athens. Greek ferries are generally very efficient and have good amenities, though occasional minor delays are to be expected, as with any public transportation system.

Due to the nature of a lot of accommodation on the islands, there are no lifts and generally no porters. You'll need to be able to carry your own luggage up to your room in hotels so make sure you don't pack more than you can manage.
